VIRTUAL HERO WALK & RUN:
54-DAY CHALLENGE ONLINE

When we couldn’t bring the community together for our annual race/walk in 2020, we innovated a virtual walk that allowed participants to join in from anywhere, and walk or run on their own schedule. Participants logged their daily miles over 54 days. We challenged them to complete 54 miles over the period.
The result? They loved the convenience and flexibility. We loved the creative the challenges they set for themselves. Some completed the bulk of the miles in a few days. Some stayed indoors on rainy days, and logged their miles in their living rooms!
Registration: $30
You can complete The Hero Walk & Run for Autism – 54 Day Challenge – Virtual Edition any time between August 9th and October 1st in a location of your choosing. You can log your miles on your confirmation page, which is emailed to you when you complete your registration.
The 5K Duck Dash and Family Waddle is an in-person event staged at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady, NY on October 3rd. The 5K begins at 9 AM and the Family Waddle starts at 11 AM.
T-shirts are included in the entry fee for the in-person race and entrants in the virtual race and family waddle have the option to add a t-shirt to their registration for $10.
