Please Help Us to Fundraise!
There is no “ducking” the issue: This event is, of course, a FUNDRAISER! We need to deploy our army of helpful individuals to make this the biggest, baddest 5K fundraiser we’ve ever had.
Even if you’re running in the race, please consider helping us to raise additional funds to support programs that impact and enhance life skills, mental health, and personal safety of Autistic community members.

For the 2024 season, we invite you to sponsor our fast-paced fundraising event, the in-person Hero 5K for Autism – April 21st, 2024 at Mohwak Harbor, Schenectady.
Through your sponsorship, you communicate your support of the Autism community and build brand recognition with our audience of thousands. Our community of Autistic individuals and their families across the Greater Hudson Region is always in search of businesses that support their diverse needs. The unique nature of these events ensures that your brand is seen constantly. We collect new signups every day and continue promoting registration until the final day of the challenge. That means your organization’s name and logo on our event pages are seen daily by our community for nearly four months. We also promote your business in our event materials and provide you with race registrations so you can join the challenge!
This and other ASGHR events fund crucial support, resources, and programs for local families living with autism. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to honor and serve every person affected by autism in the Greater Hudson Region!

Location & Course
LOCATION: Mohawk Harbor, Harborside Drive, Schenectady, NY 12305. Click here for directions and Click here for Google map
COURSE: View the Certified 5K Course Map along the Mohawk Harbor Bike Path, a 100% paved road race configured as a partial loop with two turnarounds.
Age Group & Awards
Awards will be given out immediately after the last finishers to top 3 M/F in three age groups (17 and under, 18-59, and 60+) and Corporate Team awards
Timing & Results
TIMING: GUN Time results using the ChronoTrack B-Tag, provided by Albany Running Exchange Event Productions.
RESULTS: Will be available immediately after the race on AREEP Results page.
